Stop — and go to France

I just randomly saw this picture and it made me happy.

That’s it — I need to go to France! I’ve been talking about it for years but haven’t yet made time. Je ne peut pas permitter mon francais perdre! (I can’t let my French disappear!)

While I haven’t visited la France yet, I have been to Montreal, Quebec twice. Montreal is such an incredible city, for those who haven’t been there. It is filled with cafes that are absolutely parisienne, plenty of museums, great shopping, and best of all, people from all cultures of the world. It’s so amusing to hear Chinese people speaking French, really. Montreal is extremely divided though — basically one side of the city speaks French, and the other side speaks English.

My advice for the day to myself: Arrêt – and plan your next vacation!
